The Board of Trustees asks parents to make a donation each year, per child enrolled, which assists with the school's operational costs.
For the 2017 year, the Board of Trustees asked parents to donate $210.00 per year. Parents are sent a letter outlining the donations due.
If you have not registered yet with Kindo you can register by going to the link above, (this takes only a few minutes) by using you own email that the school has on it' records. It is important to keep us informed of any changes of email addresses.
If you do not have access to the Internet, payments can be paid at the school office.
Hillsborough Primary School is a high decile school. Although we run a tight ship, our operational grant from the Ministry of Education does not cover all of our expenses. Some costs are covered by fundraising through our parent group, FOHPS. For other expenses, we need to look to the school community for assistance.
Is it compulsory?
No. It is a voluntary donation, though we encourage families to assist the school by making the payment if they can.
